For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows at Sky Blue Lake through the wintertime typically dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Mount Corcoran is easily seen from Sky Blue Lake, and a tremendous place to explore close by is Arc Pass. This lake is so wonderful.       Sky Blue Lake is pretty dried out mostly; all through January this area sees the most rain; October is when it's the driest. Lakes are nice; Primrose Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Sky Blue Lake, and if you're dropping by from Bishop, you won't be the only one. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Sky Blue Lake rocks! Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Iridescent Lake; after a long day outdoors                  Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a great site to spend a night or two. Sky Blue Lake is located in the Southern Sierra Nevada. If you came to camp Tuttle Creek Campground is a nice place to do that; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kern River. So much fun stuff to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada, too great to be true. Camping at Symmes Creek Campground is always a nice experience, and The Major General is an out of the ordinary place to visit while at Sky Blue Lake. Man, is there loads of enjoyable stuff to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada.
