A visit to Sixth Lake is always a good idea. Going for a hike on the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section is always a wonderful adventure. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Mount Agassiz is stunning and can be spotted from Sixth Lake, and unsurprisingly, this is a nice area for people who like lakes, Fifth Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is plentiful here in the Central Sierra

| | Nevada. There are glorious locations to look at along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11. Lakes are great; Bishop Lake is a lake that's close to Sixth Lake.
During the summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Sixth Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Willow Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada.
If time allows, Devils Postpile National Monument is a national
park worth stopping at; don't leave Sixth Lake without first checking out Palisade Glacier. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Sixth Lake called the Kings River Trail, and Super 8 Motel
- Bishop is a tremendous site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Kings River - Middle Fork in close proximity to Sixth Lake, and close by Jigsaw Pass is a great place to go.
Around Sixth Lake
you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is June. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Sixth Lake. A tremendous nearby hotel is Bishop-Days Inn; Second Falls Campground is a great campground nearby.
