Sisson Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Sisson Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range. McBride Springs Campground is a perfect campground here, and a trip to Coquette Falls will fill your soul with nice feelings. If you came for an overnight stay Panther Meadows Campground is a perfect place to camp; a perfect nearby hotel is Strawberry Valley Inn.

| | 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Sisson Lake. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Sisson Lake. Everybody loves Hidden Valley, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Mount Shasta are so inviting noone can resist, and the Crags Trail offers hiking at its best.

Cascade Range. Misery Hill is painless to spot from Sisson Lake, and don't leave Sisson Lake without first checking out Bolam Glacier. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. The Woodsman Hotel is a nice place
to get some rest, and there's good hiking along the Castle Lake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Sisson Lake, for example Clarence King Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Sacramento
River offers some pleasant whitewater. From a rainfall point of view Sisson Lake is a rather common spot; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
