Camp Keystone is a wonderful local campground, obviously you could also explore Lake Lindero while you're here; it's not far at all. Be careful coming to Sinaloa Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. You're sure to come across some great folks from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura here, and if you need a place to stay Courtyard By Marriott Ventura Simi Valley is a wonderful choice. Going                  for a hike on the Whiteacre Peak Trail is always a delightful adventure, and a lake nearby is Runkle Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Posada Royale Hotel & Suites, and Piru Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is one of the destinations in the neighborhood of Sinaloa Lake that are nice to go to, and close to Sinaloa Lake you stumble on a golf course called Tierra Rejada Golf Course. Not much rain falls here at Sinaloa Lake; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
