It's always fun to stop by Sinaloa Lake. Ten Oaks Retirement Village is a nice campground here; there's whitewater on Piru Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. Sinaloa Lake is close to Brea Canyon which is positively worth stopping at, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Pothole Trail. Sinaloa Lake is not the only place close by, Bard Lake is a close by lake, and nearby you come across the Whiteacre Peak Trail

Summer brings highs in the 80's to Sinaloa Lake while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Sinaloa Lake are in the 40's. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Stay the night at RV Sand and Sea, and you can run the rapids of Piru Creek. to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Devil Canyon Trail is always a splendid adventure.
Around Sinaloa Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; January is the wettest month with most rain; July is the month with the least
moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Ventura Simi Valley, and enjoy a round of golf at Tierra Rejada Golf Course. Sinaloa Lake is not far at all from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura; Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a pleasant place close by.
