In the 60s my wife's grandparents, the Stagners, ran the lake for Simmons. My wife would go there in the summer, while in high school, to help out. We were going to visit Big Bear, from Texas, in May. Is the lake still there and what is it called now?

Simmons Trout Lake is a lake worth visiting. The annual rainfall here at Simmons Trout Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; June is when it's the driest. There are delightful places to discover along the Forsee Creek Trail. Man, is there a load of cool stuff to do in the San Bernardino Mountains. Go for a hike on the South Fork Trail, and Eagle Point is in the vicinity and always magnificent to stop by.

| | for a hike on the Seven Oaks Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and unsurprisingly Rathbun Creek flows through this region. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the San Bernardino Mountains, too delightful to be true. Big Bear Mountain Golf Course is a good golf course close by; Big Bear Condos is a pleasant location to get some rest. So much cool stuff to do at Simmons Trout Lake, so little time. Simmons Trout Lake is located in the San Bernardino Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. From Simmons Trout Lake you obtain a wonderful vista
of Snow Summit. There's so much to do here at Simmons Trout Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big Bear Shores RV Resort is a glorious site for that. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Bear Mountain, and if you came to
camp Holloway's RV Park is a great place to do that.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario here, and Bow Canyon is another brilliant location to explore close by. Through the
summertime here at Simmons Trout Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's; the nighttime is a bit colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Simmons Trout Lake are in the 20's.
