What a nice lake Simas Lake is. Just can't get enough of the Santa Cruz Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Pinto Lake Park; Comfort Inn Watsonville is a tremendous site to get some rest. Camping at Mt Madonna Park is always a great experience, and in close proximity to Simas Lake you come across a golf course called Casserly Par 3 Golf Course.
Summertime at Simas Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down

| | it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Simas Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Simas Lake. A lake close by is Rose Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Coyote Creek. Simas Lake is a good place of normal rain; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
