This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Jacks Meadow Creek; paddling on Feather River - North Fork is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Silver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, White Horse Campground is a pleasant location for that, and since you're here, you could also pop by striking Gold Lake. For the duration of the summer months at Silver Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and the night is a tad chillier of course, typically in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Silver Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. choice. This lake is so wonderful. You need to stop by Mulligan Slide while you're here at Silver Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Silver Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bucks Lake Marina. You completely
must have a thing about Silver Lake. You'll come across a scenic lake called Jacks Meadow Pond near Silver Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Claremont Trail. From a precipitation point of view Silver Lake is a rather
typical site; January is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. So much exciting stuff to do in
the Northern Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. Bailey Creek Cottages is a magnificent site to get some rest, and hiking along the Finger Board Trail is delightful fun.
