Go to Silver Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to close by Ferguson Point is very relaxing, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail. At Silver Lake you can catch a sight of Castle Point; you can stay the night at Oyster Creek Campground. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do near Silver Lake. Through the warm months at Silver Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Silver Lake. A pleasant spree to Martin Meadow is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, and there's
whitewater on Mokelumne River - North Fork for all you thrill seekers. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again. There is a splendid hiking trail in the neighborhood of Silver
Lake called the Windmiller Trail. Lakes? Sure, Granite Lake is in the vicinity. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Tahoe West Inn; Silver Lake
is a nice place to camp, Ferguson Point Campground is a nice place. Silver Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest.
