If only every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great planet                  it would be. Gotta ski! Sierra at Tahoe is a great place to do that, and the view of Castle Point is stunning. This site, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors cool things. The slopes of Kirkwood are so inviting noone can resist, and if you've had enough of Silver Lake, Granite Lake is nearby. There is a brilliant hiking trail in the vicinity of Silver Lake called the Emigrant Trail; a spree to Ferguson Point is always a great idea. Silver Lake is a wet location that gets much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest of the months is July. Summertime highs at Silver Lake generally tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Silver Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Silver Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
