Go to Silliman Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Aspen Hollow - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park if you're here at Silliman Lake; there's whitewater on Kaweah River for all you adrenaline people. At Silliman Lake you can make out Mount Silliman, and everyone loves Tokopah Valley. Through the days of summer at Silliman Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.

Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Have a great hiking adventure along the High Sierra Trail, and Silliman Lake is not the only site close by, Heather Lake is a close by lake.
Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do close to Silliman Lake. Going for a hike along the Sheep Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. An average amount of rainfall falls at Silliman Lake; January
is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Tokopah Falls is always fun to check out, and Horse Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out.
