Not far from Signal Butte Reservoir, you'll hit upon Little Cleghorn Reservoir which is a pretty lake, and if you want to hit the beach, Sandy Beach is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Hotel Mt. Lassen, and on a nice day it's a magnificent idea to spend the day at Halfmoon Beach. From Signal Butte Reservoir you acquire a wonderful vista of Signal Butte. There's so much to do here at Signal Butte Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Eagle Lake Recreational Vehicle Park is a nice place for that.
