Siesta Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike along the Eagle Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Tuolumne River. All the outdoors fun things in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back over and over. Take a hike on the Hetch Hetchy Trail, and Porcupine Flat Campground

| | is a great campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the El Capitan Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Smoky Jack Campground is a magnificent spot to camp. Siesta Lake frequently gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Pass, and after a long day outdoors Yosemite Lodge at the Falls is a great site to spend a night or two. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. McSwain Meadows is a nice place, and Wawona Hotel is a brilliant location
to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Yosemite National Park is a fine national park, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Yosemite Creek. High temperatures at Siesta Lake
through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are usually in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Siesta Lake.
