    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Shriner Lake. Shriner Lake is a rather wet place generally with a lot of rainfall; throughout the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. The Windmiller Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you came for an overnight stay Salt Springs Campground is a fine site to camp. Camping is available at Shriner Lake Campground, and float down the rapids  
   of Mokelumne River - North Fork in a kayak.
And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do close to Shriner Lake. If you need a site to stay Pine Cone Acre Motel is a great choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around Shriner Lake; Hawley Grade Trail is a glorious local trail. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a glorious time. A wonderful lake like Devils Lake in the neighborhood of Shriner Lake is a perfect place to have a look
 
               at, and if you come at the right time of year, American River - South Fork offers some splendid whitewater. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Hit the slopes at Bear Valley nearby, and Blue Hole is a good lake nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. You have to beyond doubt dedicate some time to Willow Flat if you're here at Shriner Lake. Shriner Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Shriner Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Shriner Lake.
Kirkwood is a very popular ski area nearby, and there's good hiking along the Emigrant Trail.
