Dry warm beds await you at Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a great time. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Yuba River - South Fork; the snow is brilliant at Alpine Meadows. For the period of the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 80's at Shirley Lake. You'll locate a striking lake called Mountain Meadow Lake near Shirley Lake, and paddling on Truckee River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. governing characteristics of the surroundings of Shirley Lake is Billys Peak. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a good little trip to Chief Creek, and why not head up to Squaw Valley and strap some skis to your feet.
Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return back home again. If the weather is wonderful here at Shirley Lake, you can go for a hike along the Big Spring Trail, and you can stay the night at
Bear Creek Campground. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Shirley Lake, too wonderful to be true. Going for a hike along the Painted Rock Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. There's so much to
do here at Shirley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Splitrock Campground is a brilliant spot for that. All the water falling down from the sky makes Shirley Lake a wet place; all through January this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
