This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Sherwin Lakes Trail; Sherwin Creek is near Sherwin Lakes and is always a diversion to pop by. Stay the night at Convict Lake Resort; Sherwin Lakes is not the only site close by, Valentine Lake is a close by lake. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Sherwin Lakes. During the days of summer here at Sherwin Lakes, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Summer       night lows drop down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Sherwin Lakes temperatures drop to the 20's. If you like skiing, you're in luck; June Mountain is right next door to Sherwin Lakes, and a trip to Devils Postpile National Monument is recommended. This place, Sherwin Lakes, it simply has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. A lake nearby is Lost Lake; there's whitewater on Mono                  Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
