Sherwin Lakes is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There are some nice whitewater spots on Mono Creek; you can stay the night at Convict Lake Resort. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Sherwin Lakes has it all. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Sherwin Lakes. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures

| | at Sherwin Lakes sink into the 20's. There is a great hiking trail close to Sherwin Lakes called the John Muir Trail - section 2, and why not have a look at nearby Sherwin Creek while you're here at Sherwin Lakes. Pika Lake is a fine lake next to Sherwin Lakes, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return back home again. Whitewater | |

paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend San Joaquin River - South Fork, and Mammoth Creek Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. That right there is a lot of enjoyable stuff already but it goes
on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. A golf course near Sherwin Lakes is Snowcreek Golf Course, and the slopes of June Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn
Sierra Nevada, and if you haven’t been to Devils Postpile National Monument, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. Not much rain falls here at Sherwin Lakes; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest
month of the year is June. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. And that's not all you can do here at Sherwin Lakes. Everybody close by loves skiing at Mammoth Mountain; there are other places here than
Sherwin Lakes, for example Lost Lake. The Mammoth Rock Trail is a perfect hiking trail in the neighborhood of Sherwin Lakes, and McGee Creek RV Park and Campground is a good campground nearby.
