Yeah, come here to Sherrold Lake for a delightful time. So many exciting things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Head up to Kirkwood and strap some skis to your feet; a brilliant nearby hotel is Best Western Topaz Lake Inn. The summit of Ebbetts Peak can be spotted from Sherrold Lake; Sherrold Lake is right by the Charity Valley Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Bloomfield       Campground is a good local campground; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Gardnerville is a great choice. Kinney Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Highland Lakes Campground is a delightful campground nearby. So much cool stuff to do here at Sherrold Lake, too glorious to be true. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Carson River - East Fork, and the Burnside Lake Trail offers hiking at its best.                  This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Sherrold Lake, you could also visit beautiful Dorothy Lake; Ebbetts Pass is close at hand, and is a tremendous site. Sherrold Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Sherrold Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; January is the wettest month with most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Kinney Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting; there's great hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. Bear Valley is a very popular ski area nearby; Bloomfield Meadow is right here at Sherrold Lake. At Sherrold Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
