If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Sherrold Lake. Sherrold Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Sherrold Lake is a relatively wet place usually with a good deal of rain; January is when you get the most snow here while July is mostly the driest month. Woodfords Inn is a great location to get some rest, and why not camp at Bloomfield Campground while you're here at Sherrold Lake.

| | at Sherrold Lake highs are frequently in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Sherrold Lake during the winter mostly sink into the 10's. There's splendid hiking along the Charity Valley Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Highland Lakes Campground is a pleasant place to camp. close by hotel is Creekside Lodge, and Bear Valley has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff.
This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Bloomfield Meadow if you're here at Sherrold Lake, and a magnificent spot nearby
is Ebbetts Pass. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A lake nearby is Dorothy Lake, and brilliant hiking is available along the Burnside Lake Trail. Hit the slopes at Kirkwood close at hand.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Carson River - East Fork, and Kinney Creek is in the vicinity of Sherrold Lake and is always a joy to check out. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy
all the amusing stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Don't leave Sherrold Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13; from Sherrold Lake you get a delightful view of Ebbetts Peak.
