So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Santa Ynez Mountains, not sufficient time. If you need a place to stay Inn of the Spanish Garden is a good choice, and Lauro Canyon Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave       Sheffield Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Jesusita Trail, and a visit to East Beach is always a splendid idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the Santa Ynez Mountains. There are splendid places to discover along the Tunnel Trail, and Mission Canyon is absolutely a glorious location to go to. This location, the Santa Ynez Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. A wonderful nearby hotel is Simpson House Inn. You'll                  need more than a day to look at everything Sheffield Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Santa Barbara County Park Dept. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Sheffield Reservoir is great! West Beach is close to Sheffield Reservoir and is a gorgeous beach to visit; Santa Barbara Golf Club is a golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Mission Creek, and pleasant hiking is available along the Arroyo Burro Trail. Here at Sheffield Reservoir there are plenty of people from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta. There's so much to do here at Sheffield Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Ocean Mesa Campground is a great place for that, and a lake close by is Vic Trace Reservoir. Summertime highs at Sheffield Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 90's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 50's.
