It's always fun to stop by Shaver Lake. Shaver Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable stuff just keep reading. Taking a little visit to nearby Shaver Lake Point is a pleasant idea, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Deep Creek Trail. This site, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. On a glorious day at Shaver Lake you can take a hike along the Bobs Flat Trail, and a pleasant tour to Ely Meadow is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Shaver Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. at Shaver Lake, you can go for a hike along the Red Mountain Trail; one of the overriding traits of the surroundings of Shaver Lake is Musick Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Sierra
Summit, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Yosemite Gateway Inn is a great choice. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Swanson Meadows Campground is a perfect local campground.
Through the warm months highs here at Shaver Lake get into the 90's while night lows are typically in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Shaver Lake during the winter mostly dip into the 30's.
