If you are in San Bernardino county it's always a good idea to stop by Shadow Lake. For the duration of the warm months at Shadow Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Shadow Lake. There's so much to do here at Shadow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Slide Lake Campground

nearby. The annual rainfall here at Shadow Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest of the months is June. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Shadow Lake. The Siberia Creek Trail
is a glorious hiking trail near Shadow Lake, and Snow Summit is a very popular ski area close at hand.
If you need a location to stay The Block is a good choice, and Snow Valley has great slopes and a friendly staff. This lake
is so wonderful. Cold Creek flows through this area; nearby you discover the Alder Creek Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.
All year is a glorious time in the San Bernardino Mountains if you go for the outdoors. A splendid
location like Filaree Flat here at Shadow Lake is too good to miss, and going for a hike on the Forsee Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Cozy Hollow Lodge; the view of beautiful Constance Peak is nice.
