Do stop by Shadow Lake while you're in this part of California. The San Bernardino Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Block. Lakes? Sure, Cedar Lake is nearby. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Shadow Lake. day is on the slopes of nearby Snow Summit. Filaree Flat is a good site here at Shadow Lake, and some of the water close by flows, like Cold Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Shadow Lake;
Alder Creek Trail is a great local trail, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario. Shadow Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Slide Lake Campground is a fine local
campground. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more exciting things to do here in the San Bernardino Mountains. Snow Valley is a very popular ski area close by. There's so much to do here at Shadow Lake that you
need to camp here for a while, Bear Creek Campground is a great site for that. High temperatures at Shadow Lake through the summer months are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Shadow Lake.
