Do stop by Serena Lake while you're in this part of California. Through the summer at Serena Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Serena Lake. The skiing at Boreal is brilliant; you can stay the night at Onion Creek Campground. A lake close by is Long Lake, and going for a hike on the Lola Montez Trail

A lot of rain falls at Serena Lake; January is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Ice Lakes is a nearby lake that you could check out, and it's a wonderful idea to pop by Upper Castle Creek. And that's not all you can do here at Serena Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Yuba River - South Fork; Serena Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Van Norden Campground is a great location to camp nearby. Fordyce Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. Serena Lake is a beautiful
lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
Having a brilliant time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is uncomplicated. Serena Lake is near Summit Valley which is without doubt worth taking a look at, and you can go for a hike on the Heath
Falls Overlook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Soda Springs is right next door to Serena Lake, and a fine close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Truckee, Ca.
