Do stop by Serena Lake while you're in this part of California. Through the summer at Serena Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. on Yuba River - South Fork; Serena Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Van Norden Campground is a great location to camp nearby. Fordyce Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. Serena Lake is a beautiful
lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Having a brilliant time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is uncomplicated. Serena Lake is near Summit Valley which is without doubt worth taking a look at, and you can go for a hike on the Heath
Falls Overlook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Soda Springs is right next door to Serena Lake, and a fine close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Truckee, Ca.
