Seneca Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. Lakes are such calm spots, why not go to Lake Chabot right next door to Seneca Reservoir, and swing by Country Club Branch it's a fine place to explore. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff next to Seneca Reservoir. If you need a spot to stay Park Plaza Hotel is a great choice, and camping at Monkey Business Camp is always a brilliant experience. is somewhat colder of course, usually in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Seneca Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along
the Edgewood Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; you can spend the day on the beach at Sandy Beach. Seneca Reservoir is a location that is quite waterless regularly; the month of January is the wettest with
most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. While you're here at Seneca Reservoir you will meet lots of people from nearby San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont, and a pleasant close by hotel is Quality Inn Oakland.
