Secret Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month of the year is July. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Get dripping wet paddling on American River - South Fork; going for a hike along the Windmiller Trail will let you absorb       the natural beauty of this neighborhood. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. And if that's not enough there's heaps more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you need a place to stay Pine Cone Acre Motel is a great choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Thirty-nine Mile Campground is a pleasant location to camp. On a good day at Secret Lake you can take a hike along the Highland Trail, and the peak of Blue                  Mountain can be seen from Secret Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Meadow is a fine place to get some rest, and glide down the rapids of Silver Creek - South Fork in a kayak. This spot is excellent, just explore all the cool things to do in the vicinity of Secret Lake. Pyramid Campground is a great campground nearby; a lake close by is Hemlock Lake. All through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Secret Lake while night lows are frequently in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Secret Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
