In California there are many beautiful lakes, Scotts Lake is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Scotts Lake gets much water; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Scotts Lake get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in

| | the 30's with temperatures at Scotts Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Scotts Lake. The Burnside Lake Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in the vicinity of Scotts Lake. This place, Scotts Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors fun stuff. is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Heavenly is just what you need, and Tahoe Paradise Golf Course is a golf course close by. If the weather is great here at Scotts Lake, you can go for a hike along the Charity Valley Trail,
and if you come at the right time of year, Mokelumne River - North Fork offers some nice whitewater. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Head up to Kirkwood and strap some skis to your feet;
not far from Scotts Lake you'll hit upon Scotts Lake which is a charming lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Carson River - East Fork, and Scotts Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Kit Carson Campground is a great
local campground. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Scotts Lake you can take a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail, and after a long day outdoors Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a brilliant place to spend a night
or two. Here at Scotts Lake there are plenty of people from Gardnerville Ranchos, and the peak of Waterhouse Peak can be made out from Scotts Lake. So many cool things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just mind-boggling. Near Scotts
Lake you discover Luther Pass which is a wonderful place to stop by. There's so much to do here at Scotts Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Alpine Campground is a tremendous spot for that.
