Scotts Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Scotts Lake without first going for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel. The high level of precipitation makes Scotts Lake a quite wet spot; through January this area sees the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Scotts Lake;
