High temperatures at Scott Bar Pond all through the warm months are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Scott Bar Pond temperatures dip to the 30's. pleasant time. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Scott Bar Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Totten Campground is a splendid spot for that, and hiking along the Horse Camp Trail is magnificent fun.
In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Klamath River, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Isinglass Lake is just a very short distance away.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. Much rain falls at Scott Bar Pond; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
