Scorpion Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. So much fun stuff to do here in the Klamath Mountains, too great to be true. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Scorpion Lake. A trip to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is recommended, and if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Central is a great choice. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Scorpion Lake has to offer, you can camp at Eagle Creek Campground. Summer at Scorpion Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 40's. is gorgeous, you get a splendid vista of Bonanza King from Scorpion Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Scorpion Lake you can take a hike along the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail, and Scorpion Lake is a
great place to camp, Coffee Creek Campground and RV is a great place. Scorpion Lake is pretty arid commonly; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
