    Beautiful Schilling Lake has much to offer visitors. Schilling Lake is one of the lakes here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. During the months of summer highs here at Schilling Lake reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Schilling Lake dipping down into the 40's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Pacific Inn of Redwood  
   City is a delightful location to spend a night or two, and Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail is a glorious local destination.
Be careful coming to the Santa Cruz Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. While you're here at Schilling Lake you can play some golf at Emerald Hills Golf Course, and Schilling Lake is right by the Edgewood Trail. Schilling Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with
 
               most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Comfort Inn Redwood City is a great spot to get some rest, and glide down the rapids of Pescadero Creek in a kayak.
Stay the night at Trailer Rancho, and sites like The Meadows are magnificent to go to. This lake is so wonderful. Schilling Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Trailer Villa is a brilliant place to camp nearby; get yourself into a kayak and hit San Lorenzo River. Having a tremendous time at Schilling Lake is easy. You'll meet a lot of people from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont here, and Bear Gulch is a pleasant spot to check out.
So many cool things in the vicinity of Schilling Lake, just astonishing. Take a side trip to Alambique Creek, and the Trappers Trail offers hiking at its best. Yeah, come up here to the Santa Cruz Mountains for a great time. Kelly Hill is a peak you can see from Schilling Lake, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Bear Gulch Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. A lake nearby is Pearsons Pond; there's tremendous hiking along the Alambique Trail.
That right there is heaps of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Santa Cruz Mountains has it all.
