Don't miss out on a journey to Devils Postpile National Monument while you're here at Saunders Lake; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Methuselah Trail. Summertime       highs at Saunders Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Saunders Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. Saunders Lake gets very little rainfall; January is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is June. Yeah, come here to Saunders Lake for a nice time.
