Santa Margarita Lake is a beautiful lake in the Santa Lucia Range. This place, Santa Margarita Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. Going for a hike on the Fernandez Trail is always a good adventure, and you can go for a hike on the Machesna Trail. Summertime highs at Santa Margarita Lake frequently tend to be in the 60's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime       brings highs down to the 60's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Santa Margarita Lake tend to be in the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. Near Santa Margarita Lake you find the Hi Mountain Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and after a long day outdoors Apple Farm is a nice place to spend a night or two.
