A day at South Beach near San Luis Reservoir is time well spent, and a perfect nearby hotel is Hotel de Oro. San Luis Dam is worth checking out while you're here, and a great place to camp here at San Luis Reservoir is Basalt Campground. You'll wish for more hours in a day to                  enjoy all the cool things at San Luis Reservoir.
