Many people like to go to San Dieguito Lagoon. A wonderful nearby hotel is Hilton San Diego/Del Mar; a journey to Cabrillo National Monument is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Los Penasquitos Creek is so much fun; there are plenty of folks from San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos here at San Dieguito Lagoon. This lake is so wonderful. If you're looking for a beach near San Dieguito Lagoon, we recommend Blacks Beach. San Dieguito Lagoon is pretty dehydrated typically; the month of January
is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. For the period of the warm months here at San Dieguito Lagoon, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to San Dieguito Lagoon.
