What a nice lake Salton Sea is. Salton Sea is usually a rather dehydrated place; January is the month that gets the most rain while June is mostly the driest month. If you came to camp Corvina Beach Campground is a good place to do that; going for a hike on the Calcite Road is always a delightful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 70's while Salton Sea overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's.
