I went to Salt Springs this July for the first time and the place was a dump. Trash, toilet paper, diapers, trees cut, you name it. It seems that no one has any respect for our natural environment. When people put up signs, take them down when you leave. Learn and begin the Leave No Trace ethics. Says Rick

many years. i find it to be fun and relaxing. me and my friends swing of the rope swing into the water and jump off rocks. they have nice camp areas, and recently added some out houses which is much better, cause a couple years ago
| there was no bathrooms at all. for a fun weekend trip i would recommend it. we go back every year during the summer at least three times. as matter of fact we are going again this labor day weekend for 4 days! yay! Says Chantrae Garcia

boat camped and fished for a few days. I planned the same trip yesterday. We went in when still dark down a narrow 18 mile road from HWY 88. When we got to the dam, we found that the boat ramp was closed to trail launching. There

| | is a small sign that says so near Hwy 88, but its real easy to miss. We read up on Salt Springs in several publications. Nowhere did it mention no boat launching!!! The ramp is still there, but blocked off. I wish PG&E would fix that! Says Bob Shaffer
