Salt Spring Valley Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. High temperatures at Salt Spring Valley Reservoir throughout the months of summer are in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows at Salt Spring Valley Reservoir through the wintertime frequently plunge into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Camanche Recreational Co is a nice site to do that, and whitewater paddling is good on Mokelumne River. Angels Inn Motel is a wonderful site to get some rest, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stanislaus River.; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
