A wonderful place in the vicinity of Salt Lake is Craig Canyon; needless to say, all our national parks are good locations to stop at and Death Valley National Park is no exception. There's so much       to do here at Salt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Diaz Lake Campground is a fine spot for that, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Frontier Motel is a delightful choice. While you're here at Salt Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Bishop. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Salt Lake has to offer, you can camp at Aberdeen Resort. It is very dehydrated here at Salt Lake regularly; the month with most of the rain                  is January; October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Waucoba Wash flows through this area, and everybody loves Saline Valley. High temperatures at Salt Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's.
