National Recreation Area is a national park worth taking a look at. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. At Salmon Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's, and the night is somewhat colder
of course, regularly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows at Salmon Lake during the wintertime frequently dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Coffee Creek, and Horseshoe Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit.
