    The beauty of Saddlebag Lake is reason enough to stop by. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Saddlebag Lake. On a great day at Saddlebag Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and Tioga Peak is clearly visible from Saddlebag Lake. That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. If you wish for a little side trip, try Dore Pass,  
   and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Fantail Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Sawmill Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and skiing at June Mountain is one of those things you just should do. The John Muir Trail - section 2 is a glorious hiking trail in the vicinity of Saddlebag Lake; not far from Saddlebag Lake you'll come across Maul Lake which is a beautiful lake.                Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Saddlebag Lake.
Saddlebag Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Get wet paddling on Tenaya Creek, and if you want to go to some out of the ordinary stuff, go to Dore Cliff. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Saddlebag Campground is a great place to camp, and if you need a place to stay Yosemite Gateway Motel is a great choice.
Around Saddlebag Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the snow falls throughout January, and October meanwhile is the driest month. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Central Sierra Nevada. If the weather is good here at Saddlebag Lake, you can go for a hike along the Gaylor Lakes Trail; Heidelberg Inn is a good site to get some rest.
