Saddlebag Lake

Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Saddlebag Lake is excellent! Going for a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2 is always a pleasant adventure. For all you boaters, Bridgeport Reservoir RV Park and Marina is a glorious marina close by, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Gaylor Lakes Trail. The difference in altitude is 1,445 feet for a delightful 4.3-mile-long backcountry trail in close proximity; we are unsurprisingly chatting
about the Gaylor Lakes Trail. Roughly speaking four hours of tremendous backcountry hiking on the Gaylor Lakes Trail is time well spent.
