Having a good time in the Central Sierra Nevada is simple. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Bishop is a great spot to spend a night or two, and Bishop-Days Inn is a great site to get some rest. Lake Sabrina is pretty dried out usually; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest month of the year is June. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Central       Sierra Nevada has to offer. Sabrina Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Kings River - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Sabrina, you could also stop at scenic Little George Lake, and don't leave Lake Sabrina without first going for a hike along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section. Do stop at Grass Lake in the vicinity of Lake Sabrina, it's a stunning                  lake, and swing by Lamarck Creek it's a glorious spot to explore. You can run the rapids of San Joaquin River - South Fork in the neighborhood of Lake Sabrina, and Lake Sabrina is a good place to visit for more than one day, North Lake Campground is a good place to camp nearby. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Lake Sabrina reach the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Lake Sabrina dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Sabrina. Visiting Devils Postpile National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; there are good places to explore along the Kings River Trail.
