This lake is so wonderful. So much cool stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains, not sufficient time. If you need a site to stay Baymont Inn Yreka is a fine choice, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Garden Gulch Trail. Russian Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December while July is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Salmon River has       a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; Trail Creek Campground is a great campground nearby. Summertime highs at Russian Lake commonly tend to be in the 90's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Russian Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. So much fun stuff to do here at Russian Lake, too good to be true. Lakes? Sure, Siphon Lake is close                  at hand; going for a hike along the Tanners Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Klamath Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Waterdog Lake, and you can stay the night at Idlewild Campground. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Salmon River - South Fork, and you acquire a good panorama of Russian Peak from here. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains.
