Russian Lake is a lake worth visiting. Russian Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here; July on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Russian Lake commonly tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. On a delightful day you get a vista of Russian Peak from Russian Lake.
There's so much to do here at Russian Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Idlewild Campground is a great place for that, and a perfect close by hotel is Baymont Inn Yreka. Be careful coming to Russian Lake, you might not
ever want to return home again. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Russian Lake has to offer, you can camp at Trail Creek Campground; don't leave Russian Lake without first going for a hike along the Deacon Lee Trail.
