This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. Ruffey Lakes gets a normal amount of yearly rain; December is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka, and there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline kick people. | | to go to Hockaday Springs; going for a hike along the Tanners Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You absolutely should fancy the Klamath Mountains. You'll come across a scenic lake called Wicks Lake near Ruffey Lakes, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Scott River. Lake, it's a scenic lake. Etna Summit is a wonderful place to spend some time at. There's so much to do here at Ruffey Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Idlewild Campground is a tremendous place for that. Hiking along
the Deacon Lee Trail is good fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ruffey Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Mountain Village RV Park. Having a tremendous time at Ruffey Lakes is easy. If the weather is fine here
at Ruffey Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Garden Gulch Trail, and as expected Lunch Creek is a striking stream that is worth checking out.
