If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Rucker Lake. A short visit to Black Oak Spring is always worthwhile, and Rucker Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Spaulding Campground is a wonderful local campground. | | hit Yuba River - South Fork. Rucker Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do in the vicinity of Rucker Lake. A great deal of precipitation falls at Rucker Lake; most of the rain falls during January; July is when it's the driest. a hike along the Eagle Bird Trail, and here at Rucker Lake you can catch a sight of Clyde Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Soda Springs, and there's some flowing water
nearby, Alder Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. Dry warm beds await you at Rainbow Lodge, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Canyon Creek Trail. If you want a magnificent time in the great
outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Royal Gorge. There's so much to do here at Rucker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fuller Lake Campground is a delightful place
for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Fordyce Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. Lakes are good; Blue Lake is a lake that's close to Rucker Lake. For the period of the months of summer,
highs typically are in the 80's at Rucker Lake while night lows are regularly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; overnight lows at Rucker Lake during the wintertime commonly dip into the 20's. If you need a location
to stay Shinneyboo Creek Cabin Resort is a pleasant choice, and the Spaulding Lake Trail is a good hiking trail nearby.
