This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Royal Arch Lake, you could also explore stunning Johnson Lake, and Fresno Dome Campground is a pleasant local campground. Drift down the rapids of Merced River - South Fork in a kayak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Royal Arch Lake; Panorama Trail is a good local trail. you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Royal Arch Lake. Everybody loves Givens Meadow, and good hiking is available along the Buena Vista Trail. Having a good time in the Central Sierra Nevada is trouble-free.
If you come at the right time of year, Big Creek offers some tremendous whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at dnc -- Wawona Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. Near Royal Arch Lake you hit upon Buena Vista Pass which is a great
place to take a look at, and if you haven’t been to Yosemite National Park, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer.
On a lovely day you get a panorama of Mount Bruce from Royal Arch Lake; if you need a site to stay Yosemite Lodge at the Falls is a wonderful choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Royal Arch
Lake. You'll find a wonderful lake called Minnow Lake near Royal Arch Lake, and Upper Chiquito Campground is a glorious campground nearby. Go for a hike on the Mono Meadow Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Badger Pass is reasonably near.
