California has many beautiful lakes and Round Top Lake is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Round Top Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest month is July. Gotta ski! Bear Valley is a brilliant place to do that.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Round Top Lake from Gardnerville Ranchos, you won't be the only one, and Best Tahoe West

| | Inn is a wonderful location to get some rest. There are magnificent places to explore along the Burnside Lake Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Woods Lake Campground is a good place to camp. Black Butte is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Round Top Lake; going for a hike on the Charity Valley Trail is always a great adventure.

to Round Top Lake, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Hawley Grade Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of American River - South Fork in a kayak, and some of the water close by flows, like Emigrant
Creek. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Round Top Lake. The slopes of Kirkwood are so inviting noone can resist, and Caples Lake Campground is a great campground here.

at Round Top Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's; night lows at Round Top Lake during
the wintertime generally drop into the 10's. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too great to be true. Get covered with water paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel.
