     There's whitewater on Coffee Creek for all you adrenaline people, and why not camp at Stoney Point Campground if you're here at Round Lake. So many fun things to do at Round Lake, so little time. Nearby Deer Creek Pass is a glorious site to go if you're at Round Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Round Lake; Deacon Lee Trail is a magnificent local trail. All year is a fine time in the Klamath Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. A lake close by  
   is Luella Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Big Flat Campground is a delightful site to camp.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Klamath Mountains. The vista of beautiful Gibson Peak near Round Lake is tremendous. Round Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Deer Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and you can
 
               run the rapids of Trinity River.
The Klamath Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Bear Basin are nice to visit, and naturally, all our national parks are nice sites to have a look at and Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is no exception. Summertime highs at Round Lake generally tend to be in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Round Lake temperatures fall to the 20's.

Looking for a place called Coffee Creek Resort in the mid-70's.   Had a lodge and A-frame cabins, you could hike a trail up to Lake Josephine from the lodge.  Hoping it is still around now that we are back in California....
