Round Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. It's always tremendous to pop by Fern Falls, and do set aside some time for Lakes Basin while you're here at Round Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Round Lake is right by the Butcher Ranch Trail; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Royal Gorge. The yearly precipitation here at Round Lake is about average; through January this area sees the

| | most rain while July is typically the driest month.
There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay Snag Lake Campground is a great site to camp, and a golf course close by is Graeagle Meadows Golf Course. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Round Lake; Pacific Crest Trail - section 15 is a great local trail; Mount Elwell is clearly visible from Round Lake. So many entertaining things to do in | |

the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Why not camp at Upper Jamison Campground since you're here at Round Lake, and if you need a place to stay Deer Creek Inn is a glorious choice.
Gold Lake is a nearby lake that you could
stop at, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Deer Lake Trail. Summertime highs at Round Lake generally tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally
in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Round Lake. Paddling on Yuba River - North Fork is so much fun, and dry warm beds await you at Chalet View Lodge.
So many entertaining things close to Round Lake, just
extraordinary. Round Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Having a fine time at Round Lake is uncomplicated. Soar down the rapids of Lavezzola Creek in a kayak; if you're here, you could also check out pretty Little Gold Lake.
