From a precipitation point of view Rough and Ready Reservoir is a quite common spot; most of the rain falls through January, and the driest month is July. Stagecoach Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest, and you might also want to pay a visit to Blue Ravine while you're here at Rough and Ready Reservoir.
