Man, is there loads of exciting things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Places like Desolation Valley are perfect to stop by, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River - South Fork. Osma Lake is a pleasant lake close to Ropi Lake; don't leave Ropi Lake without first paying a visit to Horsetail Falls. So many amusing things to do here       in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too delightful to be true. The sight of Cracked Crag from Ropi Lake is gorgeous; delightful skiing awaits you at Sierra at Tahoe. Camping is available at Sayles Flat Campground, and whitewater paddling is great on Silver Creek - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Pyramid Creek is a good local stream, and a glorious spot is Rocky Canyon. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Kirkwood, and a striking lake like                  Lake Lucille is a pleasant spot to take a look at. Ropi Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Lovers Leap Campground is a good spot to camp, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail. Ropi Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This place rules, just explore all the fun things to do near Ropi Lake. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Ropi Lake called the Red Peak Trail; after a long day outdoors Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a fine place to spend a night or two. All year is a fine time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you have a thing about the outdoors. Lots of people from Gardnerville Ranchos come to Ropi Lake. So much exciting stuff to do at Ropi Lake, so little time. The Windmiller Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Ropi Lake, and Pine Cone Acre Motel is a delightful spot to get some rest. At Ropi Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's.
