Ropi Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well stop at Rocky Canyon, and after a long day outdoors Pine Cone Acre Motel is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Good hiking is available along the Windmiller Trail. Everybody       nearby loves skiing at Sierra at Tahoe, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Silver Creek - South Fork. Float down the rapids of American River - South Fork in a kayak; let's not forget Pyramid Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here. There's great hiking along the Red Peak Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley. Ropi Lake in fact is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. Camping at Sayles Flat                  Campground is always a nice experience; you can go for a hike on the Hawley Grade Trail. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Horsetail Falls is a good local attraction, and everybody loves Desolation Valley. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is plentiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A delightful place to camp here at Ropi Lake is Lovers Leap Campground, and the slopes of Kirkwood are so inviting nobody can resist. For the period of the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Ropi Lake, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, generally in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Ropi Lake fall into the 10's.
