If you are in Santa Barbara county it's always a good idea to stop by Romero Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Garrapata Creek flows through this area, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Buell Reservoir. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do in the vicinity of Romero Reservoir. Romero Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Canyon Campground is a nice local campground, and pleasant hiking

| | is available along the Blue Canyon Trail. Romero Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Santa Ynez Mountains.
Summertime at Romero Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Romero Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Santa Ynez Mountains. You must without doubt pop by scenic East Beach while you're here at
Romero Reservoir; if you feel like a little side trip, try Romero Canyon. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Santa Ynez Mountains. A perfect spot to camp here at Romero Reservoir is Upper Blue Canyon Campground,
and the peak of Ortega Hill can be seen from Romero Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Inn on Summer Hill is a fine spot to spend a night or two.
Going for a hike on the San Ysidro Trail is always a good adventure, and if you
want to hit the beach, West Beach is close at hand. At Romero Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is February, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
