Rollins Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is tremendous here at Rollins Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the South Yuba Trail, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on American River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bear River; since you're here and you like golf, you can go to Nevada County Country Club. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is bountiful here in the Northern

| | Sierra Nevada. The Green Valley Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Rollins Reservoir, and unsurprisingly Greenhorn Creek flows through this area.
A wonderful nearby hotel is Golden Chain Resort Motel, and Rollins Reservoir is not far at all from Truckee-Grass Valley. For the period of the days of summer at Rollins Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's while | |

sight of lovely Colfax Hill is available. Near Rollins Reservoir you locate the Humbug Trail which is a good hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Rollins Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Peninsula Camping and
Boating Resort is a pleasant site for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
Man, is there loads of amusing things to do next to Rollins Reservoir. Golden Chain Grass Valley is a brilliant
location to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Rollins Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Long Ravine Campground. The high level of rain makes Rollins Reservoir a reasonably wet spot; the month with most of the rain is January, and July is the month with the least moisture.
