While you're here at Rodeo Lagoon you can take a hike along the Ben Johnson Trail, and Rodeo Lagoon is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Battery Mendell Campground is a glorious local campground. Ca is a brilliant choice. Rodeo Lagoon truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. While staying at Rodeo Lagoon you could always look at Centissima Reef, and a good nearby hotel is Acqua Hotel - Mill Valley (Sausalito).
One of the best things about Rodeo Lagoon is its proximity to Kirby Beach, and the fine folks of San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont like to hang out nearby. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Rodeo Lagoon while nighttime lows are mostly
in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Rodeo Lagoon tend to be in the 40's. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the vicinity of Rodeo
Lagoon has to offer. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Presidio Golf Course; going to Muir Woods National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. On
a great day at Rodeo Lagoon you can take a hike along the Temelpa Trail, and a visit to Bonita Cove is always a delightful idea.
