It's always fun to stop by Rodden Lake. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Stanislaus River, and you're sure to come across some smiling folks from Modesto here. Rodden Lake is a location that is rather waterless generally; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is mostly the driest month. | | the 60's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 50's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Rodden Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Rodden Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big Bear Park is a nice place for that; after a long day outdoors Best Western Rama Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Stay the night at Knights Ferry Resort, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Oakdale, Ca.
