For the period of the summer at Rocky Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Rocky Lake. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Coast Ranges. Good hiking is available along the Elk Knob       Trail, and Hog Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at U-wanna Camp while you're here at Rocky Lake. So many enjoyable things to do at Rocky Lake, so little time. If you get bored of Rocky Lake, you could also pop by close by Coon Lake, and a great location to camp here at Rocky Lake is Kelly's Kamp. Eightmile Valley is a brilliant local stream, and Vichy Springs Resort is a fine site to get some                  rest. Rocky Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Rainbow Lodge; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Russian River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. While you're here at Rocky Lake it's a good idea to stop at Eightmile Glade; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Russian River - East Fork.
