It's always fun to stop by Rocky Lake. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Rocky Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Russian River - East Fork, and it's a magnificent idea to have a look at Eightmile Valley. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back again and again. There is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Rocky Lake called the Middle Creek Flat Trail. Rainbow Lodge is a pleasant site to get some rest, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Elk Knob Trail. Throughout the warm days of summer at Rocky Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Rocky Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at U-wanna Camp, and a great place to pop by is Alder Canyon. Camping at Kelly's Kamp is always a pleasant experience, and after a long day outdoors Vichy Springs Resort is a glorious site to spend a night or two.
